Where to find Lunar Startups Cohort 1 during Twin Cities Startup Week 2018
It’s that time of year again! The leaves are turning red, the apples are ripe, and the innovators and change-makers of MSP are gathering for a jam-packed week of events, festivals, demo days, and investor meetings. It’s Twin Cities Startup Week 2018!
This year, our startups will be heavily involved in TCSW activities. This wouldn't be possible without our partners at the Knight Foundation, who continue to support the advancement of entrepreneurial endeavors. You can catch the founders and Lunar staff at the following events:
Sunday, October 7th at 6pm — Caroline Karanja, 26 Letters, and Jamie Glover, Asiya Modest Activewear, will present during the opening ceremony at Lake Monster Brewing.
Monday, October 8th at 10:30 — Listen to Danielle Steer, Managing Director of Lunar Startups, on a panel about the importance of investing in diversity
Monday, October 8th at 3pm — Danielle Steer and Margi Scott, CEO and Founder of Take 12, will present at Tech in St. Paul, the Best Kept Secret in the Twin Cities.
Tuesday, October 9th at 5:30pm — Muhammad Abdurrahman and Aaron Free, Clutch SOS, exhibit at the Beta.mn Showcase.
Wednesday, October 10th at 6pm — Caroline Karanja, 26 Letters, joins three other change-makers for the live recording of Social Entrepreneur Podcast.
Friday, October 12th at 9am — Jamie Glover and Fatimah Hussein, co-founders of Asiya, will share about their Venn Foundation experience during “Program-related Investments for Early Stag Social Businesses”
Friday, October 12th at 6pm — See all 6 of the Cohort 1 startups on stage for the TCSW Closing Celebration . Fingers crossed that they win awards during the GoKart Labs celebration!!
Lastly, don’t miss a chance to check out our new space at Glen Nelson Center on the 5th floor of Osborn370. There is free coworking every day during TCSW.
